Edvin Memaj and Eljon Xeka founded Optimal in 2011. With over 45 years of experience in the construction industry between them, they share a philosophy which prioritises good design alongside high quality craftsmanship, materials and finish. Edvin, Jon and their team work closely with clients, architects and structural engineers to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, enjoyably and to the high standard Optimal are known for.

Working in and around the London area, Edvin and Jon take on all styles of residential and commercial projects, and complete them on a turnkey basis - every aspect is taken care of within Optimal's highly skilled team. Optimal are fully insured, and up to date with all health and safety compliance.

Edi MemajPartnerEdvin moved to the UK from Albania 25 years ago, and fell straight into the construction industry. It was something he knew well, having grown up around quality craftsmanship in action, as his father managed a joinery workshop that was 200 carpenters strong. Starting out as a painter, Edi soon learned carpentry himself before moving on to project management. Eventually, Edi strived for the independence to deliver projects on his own terms - and to his own exacting standards - and so set up Optimal Build with a vision to combine high quality work with excellent customer service to create a reputation built on personal and professional integrity.

Jon XekaPartner

Jon moved to the UK from Albania in 1999, and met Edvin through mutual friends in the year 2000. Jon's father was a builder, and it was working for him over the summer of 2001 that sparked Jon's passion for the trade. Loving the culture and the lifestyle, he moved into construction full time and spent the next two decades honing his craft. Over that time, Jon has become proudly meticulous about a project's finer details, and relishes the opportunity to innovate new design elements to life through every project he works on. Partnering with Edi was a natural progression for Jon, as they share an ethos that puts quality craftsmanship and professional integrity at the forefront of their trade.
