We worked with Optimal Build on the full gut renovation of our home in Belsize Park and we couldn't recommend them high enough. For one, they did an amazing job on the building works, putting a huge amount of effort and attention to detail into a highly complex project, which ranged from deep structural work (including reinforcing the foundations, extending towards the back and side, building a new terrace and putting in place all new wiring and plumbing) to all of the interior finishes such as joinery, kitchen, crittall windows and hard-wood flooring. For another, they were a great team to work with. Edi and Eljon truly cared about helping us create our dream family home, and as such they were incredibly accommodating when it came to listening to our needs and helping us find solutions when issues came up along the way. Moreover, since the works have been completed, they have been incredibly responsive to any new issues coming up (which is unfortunately unavoidable with any building project!), standing readily to hand to help us settle into our new home and thereafter. And finally, they did a great job managing all of the other stakeholers involved in the project - keeping  neighbours happy, working well with our archtects, garden designers and landscapers, etc. I'm very happy to say that we would work with them again any time!

We couldn’t be happier with the work Optimal Build did on our house. Our renovation was extensive and took eight months to complete. Any renovation is challenging, but ours also happened to collide with the pandemic. Through all the complications and challenges that presented themselves, Edi and the team were always able to face any problem practically and without any fuss - a true pleasure to work with. They achieved a beautiful finish in our home and we take such pleasure from it. We still stay in touch with Edi – and he absolutely saved the day when we ran into trouble with some rogue roofers after the renovation had been completed! Couldn’t recommend Edi and the team highly enough!

The team worked extremely hard and we were impressed with the thoroughness of their work. It was very reassuring that we were kept fully informed of progress. On a number of occasions they questioned the architect’s specifications to ensure the best outcome for the build.

The initial quote was competitive and whilst there were a couple of unforeseen issues and changes which arose (as with all builds), these were dealt with promptly and professionally. Optimal kept us fully informed all the way through on how the costs were going and we found them to be extremely honest, completing the works within the agreed budget and within the original timescales quoted – not an easy thing to do during the COVID lockdown.
